his chin isn't the best so i would favour both andrade and Bute over him . balzsay is 50/50 and KP i think could put him to sleep
One of the (problems/great things) about boxing is that it is between TWO people. No more, no less. Making fights on an individual basis therefore makes sense. The down side is not all the fights that SHOULD get made, get made. But, from HBO's perspective, just put on the fights that 'sell' at any given time. Tournaments can be high risk but will they be high reward? With Showtime you have two legit, proved their ****, SMW. Kessler and Froch. Taylor and Abraham are both recent MWs that have proven NOTHING at SMW yet. Taylor has lost two of three at SMW going back to Pavlik. Abraham has NO wins at the weight. The Andre's are both prospects. In short, Showtime is pulling something out HOPING it will work. HBO is sticking with what they KNOW works.
First off, Allan Green was sick in that fight. He shouldn't have even fought. Look at Green's performances since then. It's not even comparable. Secondly, Bika is in that list. Didn't Bika go to war with Codrington? And what did Green do to Codrington? He damaged his career early and where's Codrington now? As I said, Allan Green would beat EVERYBODY in that list.
Pavlik? Allan Green would wipe his ass with that overrated, over hyped, so called middleweight champion. Andrade? Good fighter. I like him. But all he'd do is take punches if he fought Green. Taking punches is not a skill, and Green would lay it on him. Bute? All I can say is I hope Green wouldn't fight him in his home country.
Then he should have taken his shot when he had it if HE were that confident instead of letting Greg Leon talk his way out of the fight.
Healthy competition is what I say.... fight fans will be the real winners at the end of all this.... who is to say it won't cross over into over divisions?..... this could be the new way to determine who is the real champion of each division.
Styles make fights. Any of these guys would have a chance (some a very good chance, some even favorites) against more than half of the participants in the Super Six WBC.
I mean it's a cool idea and all but what say does Rafael have? He may as well write an article to the Klitschkos suggesting that they fight each other. Or tell Hopkins to quit ducking Toney.
