HBO rival SMW tournament

Sides at this point, If HBO did a tournament in the SAME division as the Showtime one...fans would already jump to the conclusion that it isn't legit.

Bute is arguably better than 5/6

 

I don't doubt that...but after Pavlik, Bute and Andrade it's just not as dramatic. More questions there with Dirrell and Ward.

 

In a perfect world, if you swapped those three in for the Andres and either Taylor or Abraham (interchangeable...either way, really) you'd have the best possible six man SMW tournament available.

 

I'm with ya on your assessment of all the Fighters except Allan Green. People don't know him now, but they will in the near future cause he's pretty good

How he can still use Greg Leon as an advisor is beyond my ability to comprehend. I know it was Leon that blew a career pay day against Pavlik for Green. It sounds like he is still following the same bad advice. Gave up a shot at Bute to concentrate on Froch? atsch

I agree. I really do. I just think that while this tournament idea is good (and it is), the only intrigue is whether Pavlik or Bute wins. The finals are pretty much right there

 

The Contender's usually like that, all the seasons I watched. It was supposed to be Forbes vs. ?, then Bika vs. Codrington, then Wilson vs. Ross. But then you do get the odd ****** wrench like Hino here and there. For all we know, Balszay could really be the goods when he's forced to step it up.

 

why don't HBO do a different divison, like 126. chris johns,gamboa,cruz,luevano and from 122 lopez and caballero, there is a 6 fighter tournament. it would be very good and exciting would not cost that much to do.

 

Is Asslik a super middleweight? No he is not

Bute? Sure he'd beat Green in his home country

Andrade? Green would treat like a punching bag

Balzsy? Never seen him

Bika? Had a tough time with Codrington... Watch Green vs Codrington

 

WOW this tournament SUCK **** COMPARED TO SHOWTIME'S these boxers here are **** and i probably wouldn't watch 75% of the matches these shitty boxers would make.
