Good action in the third. Escalante had a big flurry early, then took several power connects. Cornelius circling and jabbing. Escalante lands a crowd-pleasing straight right. Lock back to circling and jabbing. Escalante reaches around him to find his body intermittently. Inactive. for much of middle part of round. Another tight exchange...Lock down! Comes back and meets Escalante in the center of the ring. They battle it out. Lock down again!

    10-7 Escalante.

    Lock saved by the bell.

    28-27 Escalante.

Lock seems a good boxer but as Atlas says, he doesn't really use what he's got at his disposal. Let the guy in far too easily, not putting the jab out there and following it up. Too many single shots at range.

    Escalante's bodywork is vicious though.

Someone with some decent power and an excellent jab will embarrass escalante in the future.

10-9 Escalante, Lock saved again. This is dangerous though... Escalante is head hunting a little.

None of Lock's punches seem to remotely bother Escalante while the reverse is not true...

That is a major factor, apart from the fact Lock is not fighting the right fight from the outside.
