Antonio Escalante vs. Cornelius Lock

Round 4

Esca creeping in, determined but not unintelligent. Catches some jabs on his glove. Trying to find a way to reach Lock without rushing in blind. Lock, in turn, trying to limit his opportunities, reaching around and smacking Escalante's body himself whenever they draw close. Esca has landed a few nasty penetrating gut shots.

Lock almost down at end of round - looks shaky. Bell sounds. Escalante in a frenzy, keeps hitting him. Cornelius doesn't go down, nods at Antonio.

Round 5

Lock trying to do too much in there. The jab seems to buy him some distance when he uses it but he keeps changing tack. Tries throwing lead lefts, and Esca punishes him with a power punch to the cheek every time. Escalante dancing on his toes, looks fresher but his mouth is open. Lock lands a nice check hook with about ten seconds left, then they flurry at each other, stumbling sidelong into the ropes to end the round.

Probably an Escalante round.
