    What is that?
3 rounds straight that Escalante had lock out at the end of the round?

    Round 6

Escalante chases Lock around, waits for Lock to unload as he's coming in, a little head movement but mainly just willingness to let any incoming offense glance off him, connecting with hard shots to the head and body. Lock successfully counters maybe two or three times all round.

    58-54 Escalante

I guess I'm hoping Escalante coasts. I'll win both sides then.

Not as bad as listening to the Brit announers sucking Khan's you know what for 10 rounds.

    Round 7

Escalante banging away. Even the blocked shots are shaking Lock now. Lock eats a hard hook, goes down a few moments later, ruled a slip. He's tired. Backpedaling. Escalante slips. Lock finally throws a few jabs, gets walked down across the ring and gets drawn into a firefight with his back against the ropes, get the better of it by far with handspeed edge, connecting both under and over the hands of Escalante.

Too little too late for Lock, still an Escalante round based on ring generalship and aggression.

    68-63 Escalante

    Round 8

Lock looks uncomfortable. Escalante zips in, drops a bomb or three, and resumes his position just outside of jabbing range. Escalante's well conditioned. Slips a few. Much faster and more agile on his feet at this point. Escalante has this weird habit of throwing jabs while Lock's ten feet away. I don't know that you can even call it a feint. Whatever floats his boat. He's winning.

    78-72

    Fight is escaping Lock.
