Is going to lose to Dirrell. Dirrell is a really a good fighter with faster hands and better skills. Froch is too easy to get hit. If Froch try to chase Dirrell, he will get caught with Dirrell counter punches. I read some saying Dirrell don't got a punch to hurt Froch. Well how can that be true if Dirrell last 7 fights ends by ko/tko? I really believe Dirrell can beat Froch.

Dirrel is a talented young guy but go to boxrec and look at his record. He has had very little in the way of competition and Froch has been in the ring with a lot better opposition. You can't make up that deficit with just natural ability.

I agree Froch fought better opposition but so has Tito before he face Hopkins and so has Tyson before he got destroyed by freaking Dougles.

De la hoya fought better opposition then Mosley before they first fought but Mosley clearly beat De la hoya cause of his speed. Style makes fights and i believe Froch style will be talior made for Dirrell.

yes you have to earn your stripes somewhere...but this is a very interesting fight. dirrell is green as all hell but he also has the skill set that is needed to pretty much shut froch out. if dirrell can keep his head and has the stamina to keep darting in and out and away from froch he may very well win a lopsided ud. i don't see anyone really "stoppin" froch tho.

I don't think Dirrell will stop Froch but i could see Dirrell beating Froch by decision.

i agree it is very likely dirrell will win a ud. i guess that is where the experience comes into play. will dirrell be able to stick to a game plan when froch pretty much walks through a lot and keeps coming forward like he does?? if dirrell can stick to his gameplan and not get dragged into trading w/ froch then yeah, a wide ud is likely

It will all come down to Dirrell's intelligence and conditioning. Can he give all for 12 rounds? And is he smart enough to know not to go toe to toe with Froch, especially in the later rounds. If Dirrell tries to 'prove something', he will likely pay the price. If his conditioning is comparable to his ability, then he should win on points.

Imo i think Froch is too 1 dimensional. He mostly leaves his left hand too low and which he gets hit way too much. Skill fighters 80 percent of the times beats a brawler that just brawls.

This is gonna be one hell of a fight and i can't wait for it to be honest, i really believe this is Dirrell's chance to show he's the real deal, whenever i think of this fight i think of the first Ali vs Liston fight, it's pretty much the same story really, one big hitting, stationary champion with a decent chin against a brash, young mover with all the punches in the book coupled with lightning speed, Andre needs to take inspiration from that fight and follow that same logic, he's got many advantages going into this fight like

    1. reach

    2. height

    3. speed

    4 movement

    5 skills

And also he's a southpaw which Froch will have to adapt to, so Dirrell has got a very good chance if his heart and chin stay true till the bitter end.

Froch has surprised me a lot of times. He beat Taylor!
