Agreed. But I expected this to be one of those nights that defies logic.

If I could have gotten one of my bum friends to go, I'd have been there....

Only one that would go, was in Colorado rock climbing.

Rumors were afloat also that Seldon's stamina has deteriorated lately, even in spite of his appearing to be in great condition. Supposedly, after a few good rounds, Seldon winds down badly...at this stage of his career at least.

    Just got back from it.

Seldon looked slow and couldn't take punches well. Oquendo took his time.
In the 6th, Seldon actually connected nicely a couple times, but that was about it.
In the 8th, Seldon takes a knee after taking some punches.
Twice, Seldon turned away as if to quit.
In the 9th, a left hand sends Seldon down, he stays on his knee till the count hits 10, over.

Did Seldon's stamina fade noticeably after a few rounds?

do you think Seldon was counted out in the first half of the 9th, or the 2nd half? Info for over/under bettors which was halfway thru the 9th round on the wager.

ring announcer sucked, i believe it was her first time, she forgot to announce the official time (and after other fights did not say the names of the judges who scored the fight)

I investigated and found out that the official time was 2:35 of round 9
