I'm pretty quick to put people on my ignore list if they are haters or just plain ignorant. He ain't on it. I think he got into a tit for tat with Boo and it has just escalated. After Boo watched several of AA's fights he decided he had over rated him. Also, he has pointed out that Saurland may be winning the press war on the bulletin boards, but that doesn't mean he was being honest about who was holding up the fight between Pavlik and Abraham. There was another promoter or fighter quoted in a front page article that said Saurland is good at negotiating with himself in the press. I posted the link in a thread but it was completely ignorered. :D

Bottom line, Saurland came to Arum with his terms for a fight. Arum never said they were unreasonable. He just said the money wasn't there. He asked Saurland to try and do something to raise AA's profile state side so he would warrant the money they were asking for. At least that is my take on it. Arum always said each guy deserved a big pay day for this fight.

:good your making too much sense. i refuse to believe that this smw tourney was put together in a couple weeks so i therefore refuse to believe that sauerland was serious about a aa/pav fight at 160 while at the same time trying to get aa into his pet project tourney at 168. id love to hear arguments in the alternative but no one says anything...just blow you off as a blind fan

I snuck into an office and hacked into this computer, so I'm only gonna say this once. Ring has PW at #3 at 16o, and he's the only middleweight in Ring's P4P top 10. Pavlik is gonna terrorize him, walk him down, and leave him slumped in a corner inside 7 rounds; 5 would not surprise me.

You must be outta yo goddamn mind... 5 Rounds? 7 Rounds?

For starters, Pav better hope he gets him inside of 7 Rounds, because he ain't gonna wear down late like Jermain. He'll be up and at it for 12 full Rounds.

And he'll be able to take Pav's best punch. All these ****in fools who think he will just die in the ring at the hands of Pavlik are just ****in stupid.

I still don't think anything is concete yet, though.

of course .... pavik is no slouch but skillwise is not better than pw... as long as pwill comes in with the rght game plan and can take kp's pinches it could turn out to actually be an easy fight
there is an enourmous difference in skill...

paul can throw a variety of punches with both hands
    pavlik cant
paul can fight using many different styles
    pavlik cant
paul has better head, body, & foot movement than pavlik

now with this said it doesnt mean that pavlik wont beat paul williams... pavlik was also LESS skilled than jermain taylor and jt got beat up, the thing about pavlik is like everyone goes in there to engage him & the first guy who actually tried to out box him (bhop) succeeded (although pavlik complained about the weight) pavlik could easily be outboxed... his lack of punching variety, predictable rhythm, his punching pace, and area's of comfort make it easy to out box him... all you have to do is stay away from his clubbing right hand... the only time he will throw anything else besides 2 left jabs & a right punch followed by the two is if A) your in the corner B) your on the ropes C) he will sparingly throw body shots

pavlik is really really really predictable and has no special effects AT ALL! it just takes someone with the intelligence and ability to construct the proper game plan & execute.... does pw have the ability? absolutely... but will he be able to follow up with the game plan? i think george peterson will definitely deliver the perfect game plan but we will have to see if

    A) paul can take pavliks punches
    B) paul can execute

i know paul will be able to execute the gameplan but i dont know if he will be able to stand up to pavliks punches....

as long pwill can take pavliks punches i see something like an 8-4 ud or if things get wild an early (first 4 roudns) or late (last 3 roudns) tko by pwill.... once he has you in deep waters he finishes & doesnt tired

paul will fight somethign like he did against margarito except i dont think it will be as chalenging because margarito is far more dynamic with his punching & comfort in the ring then pavlik is.. truth be told margarito probably has a better chin than pavlik p4p ..... pavliks been wobbled by single punches... it took a ****ing beating to put margarito out & that was after another beating... pavlik is really limited unless he has his opponent on the ropes somewhere.... other wise its jab jab cross all night .... as long as you dont engage him and keep him guessing hell be baffled

so like i said.... as long as paul can take the punches & comes up wtih a solid game plan i see paul williams being the victor

    :gayfight

You better hope Pavlik is "pinching".

Problem is, he will have heavily taped and gloved hands so he will have to resort to PUNCHING. Pavlik isn't going to be deterred one bit by Pdub's arm punches. A high volume isn't going to help him against Pavlik. Pavlik will stand and trade with Williams ALL DAY. He has the power advantage. I saw nothing in his fight with Wright that suggests he will do enough to get Kelly's respect. Fatal against Kelly.

Easy fight? Yeah, so easy I see Pdub taking an early nap. :deal
