He might be on par with a 46 yr old Evander Holyfield. What an impressive run he is making at heavyweight. He gets rattled by Barret and now he is going for 46 yr old holyfield leftovers. At his rate by 2011 he might be shooting for a shot at John Ruiz or maybe he will really set his sites high and go for Big O'. Man this guys has been tearing up the heavyweight division just like he promised. Its hard to believe he can dominate so much with having a staggering 23 fights. Makes real warriors like James Toney's 82 professional figths pale in comparison.

    God Save the Queen!

David Haye - "I Am Doing This For Dempsey, Marciano, Louis, Ali, Frazier And All The Other Great, Smaller heavyweights!"

That this son of a ***** has the NERVE to put himself next to these legends reveals his lunacy and lack of class. Ali, Frazier etc. all talked trash but then they climbed in the ring and FOUGHT LIKE MEN!

Haye is a nobody. A sad joke. An embarrassment.

These men you mention had over 60 career fights. Haye is well on his way after this little 1 year layoff. I mean haye has had 4 fights in 3 years, the man is clearly on a seek and destroy mission to beat everyone of note!

If Haye beat Val, which i think he will, no one apart from Haye and SKY TV will consider him "world heavyweight champion"

It is a shame Evander was robbed blindly in the fight. I wonder if Evander would have had any issue with stepping into the ring with Wlad? I think the answer to that question is pretty obvious. Can you ever Imagine haye stepping into the ring with Lennox Lewis?

In all seriousness, the fight won't be pretty. It won't be spectacular. It will be tons of clinching, tons of Haye running in and out and Valuev not hitting.

It will be a snoozer. For a worthless title.

Certainly nowhere close to the "thrill" that Haye said he would bring back to the HW division.

Haye aint knocking Valuev out, i think that's obvious. More likely it goes to the scorecards, and the Giant gets another gift decision...

Mentioning the greats and then bitching and running is what really pisses me off.

Seriously, me too. I wish Ali stepped forward and bitchslapped Haye publicly for the disrespect Haye has shown to boxing and its fans.

Haye is a breath of fresh air. Im tired of listening to mumbling eastern europeans run the heavyweight division. When he stops Valuev, then beats the Klitschko's all you haters will be on his nuts like you all are on Amir's now.

There is nothing worse, NOTHING, than a guy who doesnt fight. Id rather see a guy who fights 10x a year on friday night fights that has 50 fights than a guy who fights 4 times in 3 years in his prime.

By any comparison, haye is a complete wash in terms of getting into the ring. I used to DOG tarver badly because the man just didnt fight and even he ended with 33 career figths, which is abysmal.

The Klitz won't fight him after Haye beats Valuev because the Klitz don't deal with Don King. Haye will be a Don King fighter for 3-4 fights after Valuev. Is that so hard to understand???

Besides, who gives a rat's ass about a worthless belt? The WBA is a joke.

Yea we all love guys who are all talk and no fight. CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THAT. I want more clowns that give interviews all day and fight 3 bouts in 4 years.

    Btw: Are you delusional?
