    The big black guy seems very familiar with everyone - Is he Clifton Mitchell, the former heavy weight contender?

    When he was with Brendon Ingle he fought under the name of Paddy O'Reilly so potential opponents were not expecting a big black geezer when they signed the contract

    I remember that as just being a gimmick to get a bit of publicity, like Fidel Smith fighting as Slugger O'Toole. Might be wrong though but I can't see the "trick" working more than once in each country!!;)

    that was brendan ingles idea 2 name the fighters after irish bare knuckle boxers from the 1800s...

    I haven't seen him for a while, but you used to be able to spot former heavyweight Winston Allen working the security at the boxing shows too. I may be wrong, but I think it was the old Top Guard security.

    Clifton use to lift that little guy Naseem Hamed up on his shoulders after fights.

    There is a big balck guy on the door of Swansea's main Nightclub

    He is called

    Lawrence White

    he is from Birmingham I believe - he owns his own security firm - and he is ****ing massive and strong

    However I heard a rumour a few years back a kick boxer offered him out on the door and they went round the back of the club and the kick boxer dropped him ......................
