15 rounds, if you don't give a reason for your answer then it won't be counted.

Okay Duran can realistically go out in the opener here. Laguna was not more flash than substance in my opinion, though at times it looked not far from the truth, he countered well, inside also before putting distance between him and his man again. Duran can close the distance fast on Laguna though, and unleash skilled hell on him, the stronger man for sure, i'm picking him to win the decision, with a good usage of feints helping his cause along the way.

Hmm could Laguana use movement in a similar way that Leonard and Benitez did later in Duran's career? I'd like to see someone play devil's advocate. I think Laguana causes him a few problems but Duran's closing that gap too fast, with beautiful head movement, and breaks him down with some of the sharpest punches we've seen in perpetual motion

    Duran late KO

I doubt Duran could knock out Laguna.

I'll take Duran by close decision in a very difficult fight. I think the fight is somewhat similar to Duran-Buchanan minus the cojone devastation. Laguna boxes beautifully at times and frustrates Duran, but in the end, Duran is able to close the gap enough and win the exchanges on the inside to take a close decision.

Lagunas style is hard for duran, but that mother****er always nows how to get out of the problem in his prime, so i will take Duran in a very hard fight but clear UD

Laguna by TKO after Duran quits on his stool. Duran always quit on his stool when an opponent started to use his legs.

Nah, just ****in around. I do think Laguna would give Duran a very tough fight, I just don't think he had the strength to stave Duran off him when he got going. No more than Buchanan did, even though I think Laguna's ring movement would trouble Duran a bit more, especially if Duran tried to play the more patient stalking role. If he swarmed all over Laguna like he did Buchanan, I think he'd get the job done easier, but by Decision still. Either way, Duran's probably pulling it off unless he came in at less than 100%.

That's a good take on it, i think Laguna's movement makes for real trouble here also, he's less of a mixing it up type fighter than Buchanan, as you say. If people are going to pick someone over Duran, i think this is one of the fighters i could condone it with. But i do think as you point put, that it's a fight in which Duran can most definitely impose his will.
