Meehan really took a one sided beating from Rahman in their first fight. Unless Rahman has badly faded since then, or unless Meehan's bad performance that night was a fluke, it's hard to imagine the outcome in a rematch being any different.

Also, the article's claim that the first fight was won by Rahman in seven rounds is incorrect. Rahman won in the fourth round.

rumor is Leapai vs Rahman might be set hope so would have so much support having flooded with thousands of his cousins & islanders there, but if not Meehan vs Rahman 2 would be great which I don't see meehan taking alex would he's got the power in both hands, speed, style,he can take it to 12rnds and to top it has the balls to do it.

    Yes Mark would be interesting.

I find it hard to believe this concept of Hasim fighting on the undercard in NZ....however I never thought Danny would get a shot at RJJ in AUST.

I just dont think any of our HW's are ready for Hasim.

I thought Meehan was a mandatory for Valuev?......another loss on his record at this stage wont go down well.

According to the esteemed Bigcat, Rahman is in pretty rough shape. He said that when he went to visit him in Vegas a few weeks ago, Rahman was on walking sticks and seemed to be having hip problems. He didn't think that Rahman would ever fight again.

Kali should of called that fight off, he had a pretty bad back problem in the lead to that fight and virtually did no sparring for 4 weeks prior to fight night.
