..... Oh and I obviously forgot to put Dawson and Johnson into the mix too.

They should have a LH tournament aswell.

I'd like it if we were really strict on those chosen as our ESB Champs. Has Adamek done enough at cruiser yet to be called the best of the bunch?

I think he has - he is quite clearly the best in the division.

:think......................................................we shall see. At the moment he's granted as being 'the best', but is he good enough to carry the ESB Champ mantle? I'm just trying to stir up some debate because this thread was a hive of activity earlier.

Good on you Pater, some debate in here. He is undoubtedly the best of the current crop but with Haye moving up does he deserve to be made the champ just because he was second best and now first? He wouldn't be first if Haye was still around. I'm very much in favour of our ESB Champs earning the title in the ring rather than simply being 'promoted' to fill in gaps..............

However he moved up from LHW and beat the number 1 ranked contender in Cunningham (as Haye had vacated)

so he definitly is the top man but its a paper top man

he could earn it if he beat Cunningham again IMO
