What a ridiculous comment. Your previous ones were laughed off the board when it was pointed out that the comments weren't even from Hatton so now you're trying to backtrack and say "well I'm right anyway cos he shouldn't even be thinking of it". If Marquez loses to Mayweather (which he will unless PBF has seriously slipped in his time out) and wants to come back against a name fighter and Hatton can string a couple of wins together in the meantime it's certainly possible. I would like to see Hatton hang em up now, he has nothing left to prove to anyone. However, in the scenario I mentioned above, where else can Marquez make anywhere near as much money against such a beatable (at this stage) opponent? Admittedly if Marquez beats Mayweather this fight would never happen as he'll be shooting straight for the Pac-Cotto winner, but if not I think it is a possibility.
Its the best time to fight Khan after two more fights i dont think Hatton can beat Khan. Khan is improving with every fight.
Going by the above i'am taking it that you've never expearenced the Vegas big fight atmosphere from thursday though 2 fight-night & believe me even if you can't get a fight ticket watching it on a screen over there is superb compared 2 being sat over here at 5am with a hangover/warm can of stella & cold kebab:rofl There's just a little bit more 2 Vegas than just the fight:smoke Com'on now, were would you rather be, Vegas or HERE:huh
Yep, the whole buzz on a fight weekend is something else. The bars full of boxers, ex-boxers, media guys. All the talk focused on boxing......
You're not old. Anyway, Gaz, how do you fancy going to Pac v Cotto? I'm going to try and get a ticket.
i'm trying to get a couple of mates to go but I've been hijacked by some smart arse wanting to go to Thailand (yep, I know!!:roll. I fancy Pac for the fight but I could well be sub conciously baised because he made such easy work of Hatton. Who have you got for it?
I think Pac will knock him out late. I think Pac's handspeed will be too much for him and he will negate Cotto's boxing ability which is his main asset. Of course Miguel will always have a puncher's chance, but I can't look past Pacqiaou.
If you'd have said 18 months ago that Pac would KO Oscar and Hatton and start the betting favourite against Cotto.....
I know, crazy isn't it? 18 months is a long time in boxing, despite what Floyd would have us believe.
