As for the thread topic, Britain is a small country, relatively speaking. To have as many good fighters as it does is impressive. Considering the population of the US, the former USSR, and Mexico, Britain has produced far more pfp fighters per capita, at least over the last two decades. Only Puerto Rico bests the UK for quality relative to population. imho.

No, Thomas...this is all about karma and justice...

It shows that delusional, pro-british, boxing fanatics need to keep their mouth shut...stop hyping their lower grade fighters to the extreme...or someone might come around and remind them of where they stand.

    The HISTORY....of Boxing.

No offense, young man...as far as I can tell, you don't seem to be one of the bad ones...

but if you've hung around the online boxing community long enough....and seen the TRULY CRAZY things many of your countrymen have typed...you'd know why I'm taking the hard line and nipping that **** in the bud...

 No, not backtracking. My first response was in response to the constant 'Yank'-this, 'Yank'-that crap that shows up on ESB every f*&king day. I stand by EVERYTHING I said there. But Britain has produced more quality fighters per capita than the US over the last 20 years.

Who really cares. I'm a Brit and I'm more interested in the actual fighters than their nationality.

Britains not big enough for anyone to care anyway. I mean. It's like Germany. What reputation does Germany have? Except giving shocking decisions when their fighters lose? .... er win, I mean.

The only ones of note is. USA. The obvious. The famous robotic Russians. And the little Mexicans. Oh, and the fact that the WBO is located in Puerto Rico and every WBO champion seems to be from Puerto Rico these days. That's some crazy coincidence.

I don't judge fanbase based on one website, I judge based on general view/opinion and it doesn't require you to have brains to see that the majority dislike him. Prince Naseem talked far more **** and was someone to despise yet try to argue with British fans that he's a scrub and watch them eat you alive.

My facts are right, nothing is wrong with my facts. Amir Khan DID call out Hatton and they were recently turned down, Warren made the offer his self and Hatton's team ignored them so they announced it's off the table. You're the one that needs your facts "right". Yes he DID call out Hatton and mentioned him as an opponent he would be VERY interested in. Man, this guy called out Mayweather and publicly when he had 4 professional fights claiming he can beat Mayweather in a 4 rounder if they accept it. They also publicly stated they want to fight Marquez ONLY IF he loses to Mayweather, if not then Morales. I think you have a good idea what they're trying to do.

Maybe ure right, think i may not have been around the boxing community long enough to realise what is discussed. It was genuine thread that was about about an issue i had been thinking about. Seems to have sparked some interest (both good and bad) which is always good. Everyone loves a lively debate!

Lennox Lewis didn't get much love because he didn't START in England nor was he raised there, he didn't represent England in the olympics either. He's a Canadian who decided to move to England because he got better sponsorship there than in Canada regarding his pro career. These things have affects, Bruno started in England and all the way yet you can see how much he's respected/loved. Same for Eubank, Benn..etc

Actually Lennox Lewis's first pro fight was in 1989 in England. He was born and raised in England until he was 12, and went back when he was 20. At first people didn't warm to him because...... because he's Lennox Lewis. Did anyone really warm to him?
