So, Fresno Oquendo TKO'd Bruce Seldon last night in about 9 rds......... I bet Team Oquendo thinks that is a HUGE win.?.? So where does Fresno Oquendo go now?? Where does Seldon go from here??? I wish I could've seen the fight.... I know BOTH guys are past their best days and not really going far in the division anymore, but, I still would've liked to seen the fight............. Honestly, I was picking Seldon to pull this fight off with a win..... I was wrong...........
    :bbb:hi:

    P.S.

ESPN had some fight that I cared LESS about so I didn't see any action last night on the tube.........

in the prediction league i think like 80% of people predicted Oquendo would stop Seldon, and the other 20% thought he would win by decision

I wasn't aware anyone picked it to go the distance.

This is not exactly a boon for Oquendo. Keeps him afloat and treading, that's all. Did what he was supposed to.

    Any footage?

I'm guessing a left hook to the air finished the job.

I only have one question: Bruce Seldon is still fighting??? What's next for Oquendo, Tim Witherspoon? Ken Norton?

Pretty meaningless win if you ask me.

Agreed........ Oquendo is NOT a puncher and Seldon has a glass-jaw..... I too, thought a distance fight was in the making........ I'd love to see some clips........

It's a good win, not great. I wonder what would've happened if he would've fought Solis.

Well, unless Seldon really really needs to keep fighting, as in needing to pay bills or being bankrupt, to me he is completely done and should retire for good. Fres is definitely on a serious contender path. In fact, to me, he drew against Holyfield and was robbed against Toney, despite the two L's.He also had a controversial, close loss to Byrd. Of course, Fres Oquendo has the unenviable distinction of having been KOed by Ruiz and that set him back a lot. However, in the current HW scene, Fast Fres is definitely a top guy. I rank him as just about the best America has to offer right now, right in there with Arreola, Chambers, Ruiz, and Toney. I say, let Fres fight Arreola or Chambers and the winner get one of the Klits. Oquendo's resume, especially considering the very controversial losses to Toney, Byrd and Holyfield is acceptable given the current quality of US heavyweights. I think Oquendo is a good fight for Chambers and/or Arreola. A fight against Fast Fres would let them both know if they're for real or not.

Ya know with Sam Peter going against Marcus McGee on tonight's Latin Fury card in the "main event", You could tell me Arum wouldn't of preferred Oquendo-Peter.
