  1. Aaaah good, someone to verify my story!! I thought it was strange him being in the New York New York, when I'm sure he'd have been put up at the MGM.

I met Floyd Mayweather, Oscar De La Hoya, Raul Marquez and Freddie Roach at the Mayweather-DLH press conference in Houston. I shook hands with Raul and Freddie. I got both Mayweather and DLH's autograph. Mayweather was very personable and enjoyed talking with people. Oscar came through more dutiful.

i actually forgot to mention this...but i saw floyd outside of fenway park once at a sox/yankees game...he was by himself with a bodyguard...and a clip on his belt that had to have had at least 50k in it....somebody in my crew was like " is that floyd mayweather"...and i turned around and was like "holy ****...yeah"...and thought to myself that this was a strange place to see him...i yelled to him...he smiled and waved

but its funny...everytime i read about somebody having a personal encounter with him...they mention how personable he is...and how much he enjoys talking to people about the sport....it still amazes me how much people buy into his persona(but i guess if they didnt...it wouldnt be working or worth it)and hate him for it

Met Scott Harrison at a music festival in Scotland. He was tiny but carried a massive bag, he was like a wee ant ! My old man has had him in his taxi too, said he was a really nice guy. Also, a friend of my dad had two guys in the taxi one time who ended up getting into an argument over the fare and smashing up the back of the cab. The driver had heard them talking before the disagreement and could tell they were friends of Scott Harrison. The driver happened to know some people who had connections to Harrison's family and Harrison found out who they were and made them pay for the damage. Pity he had such problems with the drink, when he was sober he was a good guy and a great fighter.

    :D

Naz was a brilliant fighter but a total dickhead. I remember reading about him sparring some journalist and absolutely beating him all over the ring, just coz he was in a bad mood that day :rofl
