    The Brits overrate all their sportsmen but I'd rather it be a boxer than a ****ing diver, show-jumper or bog snorkeler.

    I think all countries overrate their sportsmen

    Again, probably comes down to media overhyping their own

    Stop with your nonsense generalisations, Britain has a wide variety of styles etc and isnt much different to the US in that sense.

    Well...it ain't easy for brits to win the hearts of American, Mexican, Rican fight fans.To gain respect and cred depends on 2 things 1) who they beat and 2) their performance.I think they've been solid to okay.Nothing memorable tho or spectacular.they have been dropped and winning fights but not convincingly.

    Exactly, but the 3 i mentioned had about as good chins as you will ever get in boxing.

    real question is why do us Brits give a **** about what a bias nationalistic country like the unites states think of our boxers? they're probably just angry we keep beating there boxers every time its a uk vs us fight:good

    Our fighters are under-rated and deserve more respect than they get. Ricky Hatton fought the two best fighters in the World, and the exact same thing was going to happen to David Hye but he didnt have a satisfying contract. Khan is going to Maidiana coming up. So, that should be colossal.
