R.I.P. Vernon Forrest

Amazing, another celebrity dead?
Three boxers die in the same year?
One thing about Vernon's death, he chased the car jackers and shot at them. He went out like a soldier.

You were truly one of boxing's good guys.

He went out like a soldier but if he never carried a gun with him, and Im not blaming Vernon for his own death, but if he just gave the carjackers his car he would still be with us.

 

You're right, but hindsight does no good right now. Shouldn't have had to give up his car:-((

I used to holler at dude on Myspace back and forth. Real cool dude, and one of the few dudes who didn't smell his own ****, so to speak. I wrote this article about him in Jan. 08, and he liked it a lot...made me feel good. We lost another good one, y'all...RIP CHAMP

 

If giving the choice, I will gladly give up my car over being dead imo.

No car is worth a life. I not blaming Forrest for his death, that was the carjackers, but if you play it smart, you might have lived though that.

 

What a shitty month. :-(

You really think he would of chased after them if he thought he was going to be killed?

RIP Vernon, killed for doing what any proud man would do, trying to protect his possessions from mindless thugs.
