I would like to see more fighters serving their apprenticeships via the traditional route and an Area title should be more meaningful Western Area titles are very rarely fought for and therefore I would like that title merged with the Southern Area title and Those in Yorkshire, Manchester etc (Eg Northerners) fight for the Central Area title. My view anyone North of the Midlands should be eligible for a new Norther Area title. In summary 3 Area titles - Southern, Midlands & Northern Next level - English, Scottish, Welsh & Northern Ireland & a New UK belt for fighters at this level to include fights between home nations fighters. Then British level
sounds good it would make more competition in the Areas and maybe help encourage them Id have a Northern English, Southern English, Welsh, Scottish and Northern Irish
Southern, Midlands and Northern sounds good to me. I am a big fan of the traditional route. Going the traditional route allows you to find your level and occassionaly dare to be great on the next level. The WBU, IBU etc are just trinkets that you can hide behind as you try to put together a record to con people. PS - I don't won't the new UK belt. We don't need to add. We just need to refine and make popular the traditional route.
I agree with most here. Dont want the new UK belt, British is good enough after the English/Scottish/Welsh etc etc. Northern Southern and Midlands would be better to.
atsch:good Nah, we wouldn't need a UK belt. Just move upto British level after winning the English/Scots/Welsh title.
