Those guys are actually faster and have better movement than AA, AA just stands there sometimes, which wont be good and since then JT has knocked down Pavlik, Lacy (i think), and Froch. So its not completely out of the question and besides JT is the best AA has ever faced, while JT has been taking on Champions since Hopkins!

Taylor will probably build a lead early because AA is lazy and throws roughly 0.6 punches per round but Taylor is good at losing and Arthur is good at knocking people out.

Abraham will catch him late in the fight, probably behind on the cards.

One thing that most of you guys have forgotten is Abraham is Caucasian. This can't be good for Taylor.:yep

Well, as Boo and I batted about in another thread, JT has shown that he can fight at a slow pace if his opponent is willing. If he fights smart, and that is a BIG IF with Jermain, he only throws enough punches to win the round and stops. Abraham will let him. He then just has to be even with AA in the last 30 seconds when AA throws. OK, a little over the top, but you get the point I'm sure. AA may not make Jermain gas out at the end. This is not his USUAL game plan. He may pick it up a little if he has more energy at 168, but old habits die hard.

AA stands there because he can. He wants too. I have pointed this out many times, it is not because of stamina, nor is it laziness, IT IS BECAUSE HE WANTS TO FRUSTRATE the guy in front of him. He has Gods given gift that is called POWER. He also waits for a mistake and is a counter puncher. This will actually be a very easy fight for Arthur, IF, JT comes in the way he has fought his whole career AND if Arthur comes in looking healthy the way he did against Miranda 2. JT's only chance in this fight is the way he fought Pavlik 2. Used his jab, used the ring and tried to counter punch more then he is known for. That is the ONLY time I have seen JT fight a more disciplined fight. I actually scored that fight 114-113 JT.
If JT comes out "guns blazing", this fight does not last 5. I know he won't.
He actually said it himself, and I quote(not exact words), "arthur is a fighter and I am going to box him".
And as far as taking on champions, I absolutely agree, ONLY if you take out the contorversial decisions he has been gifted with.

Jermain can outbox anybody. All he has to do is go into the fight with the intent on getting a decision, and box the way he can.

    Ouma TKO10 Jantuah

    Abraham UD12 Janutah

Fighters who got stopped by guys like Ouma, and if a part time boxer, full time bus driver like Raymond Joval made the distance with Abraham. Arthur is not the beast you think he is. If he had Jermain's resume', or even Pavlik's resume', he would have a **** load of losses.

Taylor will have to win at least 9 rounds to win a decision in Germany and that won't happen.

Guys, JT is done. Only PAv's fans think he can beat AA at this stage of his career. JT will not be able to hit AA, and AA will be able to hit JT. JT just can't fight a smart, patient, all around good fight for 12 rounds anymore. He couldn't do it against Hop, and it won't happen now.

I will take JT in this one but, the Walk With Me brings up a good point and that maybe Jermain's losses are mental and not due to physical stamina. AA also has the bout in Germany too, so its a + for him

Style wise, AA is the best opponent for Jermaine. He isn't a pressure fighter and Jermaine was totally tired in all his losses and his defense went to ****. I mean what the hell was that with Froch, he put his gloves on each side of his ears with his face sticking out in the end.(soon as I seen that I was like "oh he's a goner". Saying that though I still think AA is skilled enough and powerfull enough to catch Jemaine. I like JT chances against Ward and Dirrell alot better.

I believe JT's wiry frame will benefit him. AA is shorter and stocky. He has to come to JT. All Jermain really has to do is wait for AA to come to him and counter. It's all about him fighting a smart fight and being patient.
