For a fight against Pacquiao?, are u nuts?, Marquez gave Pacquiao hell, if not clearly beat him twice, so stop the crap please, Marquez is a legitimate challenge for Mayweather.

So if he was fighting against Pacquiao, this should be a tune-up for Marquez?

    IT'S RIDICULOUS.

I think it'll be somewhat competitive, but would have been MORE of an interesting matchup at a lower weight, like 135-138 (although PBF would NEVER had agreed to that).

Stop dreamin PAC is #1p4p ... Marquez is not :deal so if Floyd
is targeting PAC then you can safely say Marquez is a tune up.
But in reality I agree Marquez is a real deal and Floyd will
get back to his retirement party with real tears in his eyes.

Marquez is a good fighter, PBF - JMM is an ok fight, but the fact that Manny Pac has signed to fight Cotto kinda makes PBF look like a mug. Pac is making a career out of upstaging Floyd Mayweather...

Fact is Mayweather should have come back, maybe had a tune up against Berto and went for Mosely, he has gone for an easier (smaller) option.

PBF is trying his hardest to sell this fight. Fact is when he beats JMM itll leave a bitter taste in the mouth. He should be fighting a welterweight...thats what Pac is doing...:deal

The problem is that JMM is still a legitimate 130 pounder. He looked chunky and slow at 135 even. He's looking like he has a nice amount of pudge going on training to fight at 143 against Mayweather. Not to even mention that styles make fights, and that JMM has proven in the past that he has more problems with good counterpunchers and tends to do better against fighters who come straight at him.

What you're saying ignores clearly visible facts.

when people say that, it is not really a knock against jmm but more on floyd for taking someone smaller than him. take that from a *******.

look man, i only have mad respect for both jmm and floyd's skills. but jmm spent a long time below 135 until his fight with jdiaz where he tilted the fight against the bigger guy only by sheer will. it's gonna take a lot more than will to beat a guy 2 more weight classes above that.
