For the record both Vitali & Toney tested postive for a banned substance that is generally prescribed to speed up healing. I am no expert on steriods but I believe it may have been the same one.

 

This is a fight that looks very clear cut to me.

There is simply no way that Valuev will be able to cope with the speed of Haye.

The ref will step in to put an end to the punishment. This is one I'd put money on.

Wlad looked pretty bad against TOS that night, and if I remember correctly both men looked unskilled in that fight. So much so when the fight was stopped because of a cut, the scorecards ended up a majority decision for Wlad if I remember correctly. You also must remember, the fight took place in October of 04, this would only be 6 months after the Brewster loss, and he was not fully confident in himself or with Manny Stewards new style of fighting yet.

 

I think Vitali should have known better, after all he probably did see steroid use almost daily in those Soviet sport academies.


BTW. I’m sure there is some athlete in the world who has been busted three times, to give JT that same free pass that you give for Vitali.

Haye is nuts if he thinks he can ko Valuev. The man is a human ape. I see Haye running out of steam in this fight and getting koed late. Haye has a major stamina problem. Haye you have stayed with the easier fight with Wlad Klitschko.

It was a hard time for Wlad.

He wants to coninue his work with Steward, some people don´t want it. But Wlad shows his heart and he stays with Manny. It was the first time in his life he goes his own way.

He did the first step to become a real Champion which he is today.

 

Haye is not going to win a Decision in Germany against a Sauerland fighter.


His only hope is for a KO.

 

I agree there, without Manny he would of been knocked out against Peter, because he wouldn't of been taught the fine art of clinching. He more and likely would of retired and stood behind his brother for the rest of his career. Wlad's not all that exciting to watch fight anymore, but he's alot more effective with Manny by his side.

 

Haye is going to break his hands if he manages to hit Valuev on the skull. I think we are going to see a very ticked Valuev come this fight and Haye will be the ultimate recipient of a lot of bent up anger. I feel for Haye, Wlad was going to turn him into a human pizza, Valuev is going to eat him like one.
