The WBA is the Premier Boxing Title Oraganization World Wide bar none. I have so much respect for the WBA. And The Interim titles, Regular Champions, Super Champions is rather innovative.

they have 27 "World Champions" in 17 weight classes. They hand out WBA belts like candy. It is a joke. Some divisions have 3 WBA Champions.

 

Let it be known the winner of this fight is the WBA World HeavyWeight Champion.

We don't need people saying that it Wladimir Klitschko is WBA Champ since he beat Chagaev. We dont need poeple saying Ruslan Chagaev should still be WBA champ because the Klitschko fight was a non-title fight. We dont need people saying Ruiz should be the WBA champion becuae he was robbed. We dont need people saying Kali Meehan is the #1 contender is deserves a title shot first. We dont need people saying Valuev should of neevr of been WBA Champ before fighting Haye because he lost to to Chagaev and should of lost to Holyfield.

 

It's a paper title that means nothing at this point. But I'm glad you acknowledge several very true statements. I wouldn't agree that Ruiz was robbed though. UD or SD for Valuev, either way he lost again. I don't think anyone is saying Ruiz should be WBA champion.
