    :good

Wlad could have been a much better boxer long before if he had the chance to work with Manny Steward since 2000 or maybe earlier.

Watch the fight Carlos Monroe II, Wlad shows great boxing skills with Don Turner. But unfortunaly, they demand Wlad to go back to Sdunek. He works with Turner and Brooks (Ray Mercer) pretty well. But at this time they put pressure on Wlad to go back to Sdunek and he did it. But in 2004 he goes his way and today he is a much better Boxer than before.

It's so simple: Valuev is the WBA champ. Close rounds go to the champ. A round is close if the challenger just runs and/or does not hurt the champ.

I don't think Haye has the super-power to hurt Valuev. He is too small to close the distance, has to punch upwards, has to make two steps where Valuev makes one etc.

The question is whether Valuev really wants to knock Haye out, or if he thinks it is sufficient to score a decision win.

If Valuev gets rough with Haye like he did when he fought Barrett he will KO Haye. Valuev threw Barrett around the ring like he was a ragdoll. Haye won't be able to take that for long and factor in that fragile British Glass Mandible and it is not hard to fathom.

Also, the Valuev of the Holyfield fight could show up and haye wins if he does. I am convinced Valuev did not want to even fight or hurt Holyfield who did win that fight.

Either way it is an interesting fight. The loser is essentially out of the Heavyweight picture for a while.

If Haye wins, it could produce cancellations of possible exciting fights, complains about contracts and money, trash talk about how Vitali looks like a pervert....you are talking about a man with two fights since November 2007. How is he going to bring excitement? A real fighter feels an urgency to get in the ring, Haye seems to be at the Mayweather stage of handling his career without having gotten to that stage through accomplishments.

You know your ****, didn't the first Monroe fight end in controversy? Something about his cornerman walking out of the arena and the ref waving the fight off? Didn't see the fight, just read about it.

Wlad's alot better fighter now, then he was with Fritz Sdunek. His defence is 10 times better, and he now paces himself more through clinching and picking his shots better. Though with Sdunek he was an offensive powerhouse, Wlad walked right through most of his oppenents.

Do you have any evidence to the contrary - and I mean irrefutable proof that Haye wasn't injured? Didn't think so. :-(

Nothing more than hype? Jisi, we've been here so many times before so I honesly cannot be arsed to list Haye's accomplishments to date. If he is just hype then WALD and VITLAY shouldn't have even considered fighting him. :deal

Like I said, he's arranged to fight, which is what you were complaining about. There's just no pleaseing some people.

Haye was talking about having to change his style against the Klitschkos to that of an aggressive, Tysonesque fighter. This fight will be the perfect testing ground for that, and if he does well with his new approach, it will give him confidence that he can perform similarly against either Klitschko. I think he should have pushed for this fight a lot sooner.

Haye - just speaks and speaks ...zzz.zzz

Evander showed the script to beat Valuev - it should be possible for Haye to copy that and show a little more stamina than Evander did - that should give him an easy win.

If Haye loses - no future in HW.
