I've only been to fights in Ireland so I've only met Irish fighters (Andy Lee and Bernard Dunne). I know this thread says "fighters you have met" but since he's the most famous boxing person I've met I'll mention Manny Steward. Other than that no one....:-(

Michael Moorer was a gentleman. He was with a girlfriend/wife. Held the door for my mom while walking into a boxing match(he wasn't fighting, just watching the fights).

Also saw Shannon Briggs(also not fighting) the same night. He walking with his girl I think and everyone was saying whats up to him. Wasn't able to get to him cause it was too packed. He seemed to be nice and was responding back individually to everyone that said whats up.

Great story. I always knew Foreman was a good guy(even before Ali, he was a good kid from my estimation). Alot of people like to throw around this myth that he was fake without giving any evidence.

Since you sparred both of them please compare George and Wlad's power.

i am going to show some age here... i sparred with scotti "the bulldog" olsen as an ammature. he was a hero(and still is) in edmonton. someone gave me the advice to throw four quick ones when he stood still taunting me. i did it and it worked. then he took me seriously and hit me in the liver so hard i felt my nuts in my neck. i was thilled to be in the ring with him and my dad was really proud.scotti got a gold in the commonwealth games after feeding me my own ass. glad to help.
