Mundine could be a good scalp for Barker now that Macklin has gone for the European belt. Mundine has the meaningless IBO belt, and this could be a massive Anglo -Aussie fight which would be a low risk defence/high reward fight
Mundine makes millions per fight. He has been in the usa trying to get a big fight. If he couldn't again I wouldn't mind watching this.

Id love to see Barker get a big fight, a win over Mundine would put him in line for a title shot. However Mundine is quite big in Oz and is looking for a world title shot himself, would he want to travel to the UK for the commonwealh belt...? I dont think so.
Big risk for mundine and he wont travell to the UK for the commonwealth strap, but i hope barker earns a big fight soon hes going to be world class soon
Mundine circa Danny Green period was a very good fighter and a level above Barker. Since the eye injury however, and with his advancing years, I think Mundine has missed the boat.
Mundine just won the IBO MW title against Geale who was 21-0 Geale also won a gold at the same games barker did. Mundine is still a level above Barker until barker proves otherwise :hey
