This should be a no brainer. Pavlik is the champion, brings in a big fanbase, and was the main event on several PPVs. Williams doesnt bring in **** other than a high P4P ranking. So why does William think he deserves more than Pavlik? As an undeserved challenger he should be glad to even get 35/65 but is practically refusing 55/45.
dude its not about the share mannnnnnnnnnnnnnn its about getting 0% of the gate (top rank) vs getting 50% of the gate ( goosen) both sides are wrong... it should be 40-60
Who is out there willing to fight Williams that would give him more than $1.5 million? Atleast with Pavlik he has a chance to further improve his legacy with a title in a 3rd weight division along with a big paycheck. I picked williams before to beat Pavlik but now I sense fear from William's camp.
I think there is more involved than simple greed. Promoters and managers no doubt consider what happens to fighters after they get Pavlikated.
That is a page straight out of the annals of old school pro wrestling, but damn, it would be a great gimmick!
The thing is he could upset Pavlik, but, Kelly is the draw, obviously. But, that still doesn't mean he deserves a bigger share of the pie. The guy has not proven anything in his boxing career. Greatest win? Wright? And Wright doesn't even fight regularly and is not the same fighter any more. Lost to that PR fighter, can't remember his name right now, LOL, where Cotto destroyed him in 5. Carlos Quintana.
Are you ******ed? When did Williams say he deserves more money then Pavlik? You either have problem reading or you just making **** up.
