They are just different organisations that have diffrent rules and recognise different champions. Most of them were formed because they didn't beleive in the other organisations guidelines, corruption etc. etc.

Things like WBU are basically made to make money, and mean very little.

There are tons of belts because of money. The people running the sanctioning bodies don't care about the sport they just care about the money. The Ring title is supposed to be the one true belt that you are supposed to look at and reconize as a champ, but it's hard to because there are so many vacent champs in a weight class. It's hard for new fans to get involved because there really isn't a difference between these belts. The only difference is their names, that's about it. All you gotta do is ignore them because it really doesn't matter what they say.

Ring title is the better. And what's preventing ring from having a champion in each division we're: 1) coz of these ****in diff. alphabet titles which. most of the ranked 1-3 fighters each division usually holds diff. alphabet titles and once you hold a belt you wouldn't be ranked in the other. 2) coz of promoters, economic & political side of boxing. Once the contenders for ring title holds diff alphabet strap, unification seems very hard to stage coz some fighters were protected by their promoters, other fights doesn't bring money and the other fighter doesn't have resume/accomplishments that merits a shot to a higly ranked/prize fighters.

These boxing organization is turning out to be just as regional titles because of biases towards nationalities of fighters.

    . . . and correction . . . RING is not a sanctioning body . . . it gives out it's belt simply for recognition . . . no money involve.

If this super 6 idea takes off and is a success, it could be the beginning of the end for the alphabet titles.

The Ring rankings are probably about as fair and accurate as you'll find. Generally you'll agree with at least 2 of their top 3 ranked boxers in any weight class.
