Marco Antonio Barrera - I was walking around the MGM arena lobby near the T-Shirt stands for the Pac/Hatton fight and was about to look for my seat when I see these group of skanks in brightly colored cocktail dresses with their hair all done up and flowers in their hair and all laughing in unison, when I finally get a view as to who their talking to, I see this short ass dude there. And I was like...he kinda looks like Barrera...then I got closer and saw...IT WAS ****IN' BARRERA!! :scaredas:...I turned to my aunt and told her...DID YOU SEE HIM?! ITS BARRERA!!...Then she grabbed me by the hand and asked him in spanish if he can take a picture with me. He said yea that's fine. And I took a photo with the guy. He seemed really nice, up until an entire British mob was rushing the "oh my gawd...is thawt Marco?!...Marco marco!!" The guy insteadly mumbled something in Spanish and got the **** outta there. Zab Judah - I happened to be visiting some relatives from the South when we decided to hit up Beale St. and look for some fun. We went into this bowling alley and started bowling. I saw this guy next to me that looked a bit familiar. The overhead TV was on ESPN looking at boxing highlights and news (which made me further suspect that it can be Zab). After each bowl, Zab would get all excited and start playfully shadow boxing. Which again made me further think it was him. And so I whispered over to my stepfather..."DUde...I think that's Zab Judah" So he takes it upon himself to walk up to him and look at him in the face. ANd he exclaims "HEY!! YOUR ZAB JUDAH!!" And he was like "Yea...THAT'S ME!" With a big smile. He shook our hands and we bought him a beer and wished him luck and he was a really cool guy. Unfortunately...he was later KO'd by Miguel Cotto :yep...but he's still a kool dude. Juan Manuel Marquez - No special story. I just ran to the Mayweather-Marquez press conference during my lunch break because I work really close to the Downtown library in LA and shook his hand.
Jeff Lacy, Oscar De La Hoya, Amir Khan, Matthew Hatton, John Murray, Evander Holyfield and Larry Holmes. Off to try and meet Ali now in Old Trafford! Fat chance, but hey I'm a boxing fan.
No one famous really. I boxed couple of months in same gym as Finnish pro heavyweight Jarno Rosberg. I changed couple of words with former Finnish HW champ Tony Halme in a local bar. Other than that I haven’t really met any pro boxers.
Sugar Ray Leonard - real gentleman Junior Witter Esham Pickering Bernard Dunne - not a nice person Barry McGuigan - was very quiet and distant

Very suprised by that, i met Bernard and found him to be a real gentleman, signed autographs for my daughter and came back to the hotel for beers after a show in Cork, he also signed autographs and posed for photos for over an hour at the same show without batting an eyelid, maybe you caught him on a bad night or maybe i caught him on a good one. yeah sounds like the bernard i met.:good
Jose Luis Castillo - have actually met him twice. once in el paso, tx after his victory over rolando reyes. the other time before the pacquiao/morales III fight. we bought a program for that fight and on one end was a picture of erik morales and on the other side a picture of pacquiao. he saw pacquiao's picture and said "no ese pendejo" and turned the program around to sign on the erik morales picture. funny ****. Erik Morales' father - met him and took a picture with him and his youngest son. very humble and down to earth guy. Ahmed Santos - took picture with him and made small talk. nice, likeable guy. Johnny Tapia - we were in el paso, texas for the castillo/rolando reyes fight. after the fight, our group yelled out "albuquerque" and he came right over to us and started taking pictures with us and signing his autograph. really nice guy except his drug demons gets him constantly in a heap of trouble. Antonio Escalante - another humble guy. i predict this guy will be a world champion someday.
WHAT? I met Bernard Dunne and he was sound!!! Also, nearly everyone else who has met him says that he is sound so I don't know why anyone would think he isn't a nice person...
