    Logically yes Ash.

    As things stand Geale is in the driver's seat here - the IBO will see to it that he gets the mandatory bout he's entitled to or a vacant title bout. If he 'relinquishes' control, he's rolling the dice IMO.

    How many times have we seen camps agree, even contractually, and then, lo and behold, someone renegs, and someone get's screwed!

    Geale would remain the mandatory so Mundines free to defend against any competent challengers before the due date. If he loses (yeah right) then the new champs first defence would be the mandatory.

    As things stand Geale gets to fight for the IBO title - so he's clearly in the driver's seat - unless he chooses to gamble.

    Hopefully Geale will go on to bigger and better things after this is sorted, or at least have a crack at it...clearly Mundine never will.
