Golota must be broke to accept, Adamek is going to spank him, probably Golota will quit in the middle rounds.

    He meant Cunningham (rematch).

To me it's silly for Adamek to try to feast on an old Golota. For that reason alone I'll be cheering for Andrew.

Adamek has something to do at CW...Cunningham, Hopkins, belt unification...

    But this matchup is intriguing

Adamek's a warrior, one of the most exciting fighters, and yet he gets **** TV money. It's no wonder he's seeking heavyweight paydays.

I don't think HBO or Showtime stepped up to televise a Cunningham rematch, did they? That would have kept him at cruiser. Why fight a hard fight like Cunningham again, for poor money?

Golota is bigger, but he is old and slow and has none of the championship heart or skill that Adamek has. It's a strange fight, but if it pays, then that's why it's happening.

I don't think Adamek can go on to win heavyweight titles. But if this fight sets up a run of fights where Adamek becomes a well paid heavyweight contender, where he can make a better living, then good for him.

Going to America, being in great fights, being a real champ, hasn't brought the fame and fortune he will have wanted. Hence heavyweight.

Ya i seen this earlier today but thought it fitting if one of their fans reported it here....

This should be interesting, i think adamek takes it, i wish ive seen more of his fights as it looks like id like him.... seen his last fight and i think he has what it takes to beat golota, by UD.

if he's fighting in poland, why not wlodarczyk first?

    wouldn't that make money?

if IBF mando got in way, surely he could just keep Ring belt, and cash in?

adamek v wlod would be a war and surely polish audiences would love it

Polish warriors should never fight each other. This fight is an abomination. I pray for their souls...

Just seen the article on the main page. This is a smart move by Adameks people, the fight i imagine will be huge in Poland and Adamek should get a fairly easy victory seeing as Golota is pretty much done these days, the only difficulty he'll need to overcome is Golotas size advantage. What does everyine make of it?

I personally hate this fight. I got a question is hbo or showtime going to get this fight? I doubt it cause hbo or showtime wants a real fight and this one ain't a real fight. Adamek vs Cunningham rematch is a real fight.

Golota should stop him within six.

assuming golota has recovered from that bad injury suffered against austin (which also largely explains why he looked that bad vs austin) this is a tough fight to pick. Adamek probably won't try and storm golota early (prolly wouldn't have the power to do it plus he may be a bit timid w/ such a big dude in his first fight) and Adamek is fairly easy to hit. Golota should be able to score points, can still box just not as good as he used to, and will have the reach and strength advantage. Given adamek's defensive holes i don't know if his speed advantage willl be enough to make him a clear favorite.
