Haye is "only" fighter to complain about Klitschko's Contracts.

Excuse me but these are completely standard terms for voluntary defenses. And as far as I remember Haye said he wanted to rip off BOTH of their heads didn't he? So why would he stop after winning the first fight?

In all honesty, do you think Haye won't have to fight 2-3 of Don King's fighters if he wins against Valuev? Those option terms are exactly the same anywhere when it comes to voluntary challengers.

Haye and Booth realized they messed up with the Klitz, big time. Their entire idea of generating millions of TV revenues from the UK imploded with the economic depression in the UK. Haye doesn't have the pull they thought he had, especially when people are too poor to buy food or fill up the tank at the gas station. So Haye had to go back to the drawing board.

In the mean time Haye has bills to pay so he fights a lesser champ like Valuev in the meantime, hopes to grab a belt and make a living. Nothing wrong with that, if it wasn't for the unfair and ludicrous screaming and commenting from Haye (and his nuthuggers here on the forum) all the time.

I doubt the contracts they offer most fighters are anywhere near as ridiculous. It's only because Haye has a decent chance of winning that they try to put him off with a bad contract. I doubt Rahman, Chagaev, Gomez, etc. had as much to complain about. I expect they went for the payday anyway and not with many thoughts of winning so it didn't matter what the contract said they had to do after they won.

MANDATORY challengers don't have to sign away options. Voluntary challengers have to. Very simple.

For example, Gomez was the mandatory challenger for Vitali's title. Haye was not a mandatory. Does that explain things?

None of the other Klit opponents have ever been subjected to the type of contract that the Klit brothers hit Haye with. "If u win, u must fight my brother, then fight me again"

    That is totally irrelevant.

The Klitschko brothers contract was very, very harsh.

The reason why there have been 'no complaints' up till now is because the Klitschko brothers have never in their combined careers fought anybody truly top notch, except Lewis, when Vitali was the one turning up for a cheque (In theory) , and not the one dictating terms in a big fight. In the days before either had nailed down more than a paper belt for a few months, they were in no position to give outrageous demands.

Since then, and before that, they have fought second raters and has beens. And since they took a stranglehold on the division, which is only relatively recently, they have still been fighting the has beens and bums who are supposed to be contenders in this sorry division, people turning up for a cheque and nothing else and who present very little danger.

So again, they have no need to put in outrageous rematch clauses etc.

Now they are finally at the top of the tree, (After almost 50 fights each which took them long enough, and only by outlasting the elite HW's of the 90's to get there) they have the means to hold those titles and the division hostage, which they are doing. A big money fight, against a live opponent comes along (ie Haye) and they use their leverage to present an outrageous set of terms.

It is by far the biggest event either would have been involved in in their careers, and probably a career high payday for both, and they tried to milk that for every penny.

Mayweather makes silly demands now. Why? he is at the top of the tree, so he can, or he can try. You cant say 'well why didn't the likes of Tony Duran and Jesus Chavez complain about PBF's contracts then, clearly he must be a fair negotiator now'.

Its just taken the Klits so long to get to the position they are in now that they can start to try to make silly demands. Plus its the first superfight either has ever been in, so thats where they are going to try it on.

David Haye had his opportunity to fight both brothers backed out of both fights. In Europe if your fighting one of the Klitschko's then your definately going to make some money. Haye wont be the one drawing crowds or anything because people in Europe especially Ukranians love the Klitschko brothers so he'll make money but he doesnt deserve a dollar more than Eddie Chambers or Alexander Povetkin because they both earned their shots. All Haye has done was beat a unified cruiserweight champion and won a unification bout after that one and didnt really defend his title but one time against a fighter who probably wont be around in a year. If you ask me David Haye shouldnt get anymore opportunities this was the chance of a lifetime for him and was the biggest fight he can possibly get. Dont get me wrong David Haye is a great fighter and great for the division but he hasnt done anything YET

 So now Haye is top notch and better than anyone else the Klits have ever faced outside of Lewis when Haye has 1 recent win at Heavy against a shot Barret whom Wlad already beat years earlier.

I just found it funny Farmboxer claimed Maskaev was afraid to fight Vitali because of contract disputes back in late 06, but when the shoe was on the other foot, Vitali wanted no part of Maskaev. :deal

Chambers and Bryd are different. Byrd threw his REAL gameplan out the window and decided to " walk Wlad down " ( more like walk into punches)

Bryds real gameplan dislocates shoulders from missing targets.

    Did I say that?:bart Nope.

However, he does present to the Klits a genuine superfight, which is a lot more than either has ever particiapted in.
