Watch out for the coming of Pac generation of fighters. Pac has just paved the way for them. Now, more and more Pinoys are vying for title fights.

Luevano's not even Mexican. He's like fourth generation Mexican-American and fought for the US Olympic team. He's less Mexican than Oscar de la Hoya, and nobody really considered Hoya to be a Mexican, much to his chagrin.

But I agree that the current crop of big-name Mexican prospects ain't looking so hot. Fortunately for them, there are enough Mexican fighters that someone will probably come out of the blue.

if you had half a brain, you would realize that fighters who are runners rarely attain professional at the same time commercial success.

why do you think jmm has never attained the status of mab and em in terms of resume and megafights.

jmm is already 36 and mismatch with pbf is the first money fight in my opinion in his career.

who do you have in your list you has truly been a stylistic fighter at the same time runs all night who has achieved commercial success in recent years.

****, you can have an undefeated record and still get treated like a joke by a lot of fans.

calzaghe? who is in his resume
    pbf? thin resume also.

jones and bhop are stylistic fighters with a good resume in my opinion. you are a presumptous pompous viagra chomping old fool milmascaras. but then, we can't teach old dogs new tricks can't we.

and btw, when have i ever said that pac will ko heavyweights. look at my posting history, i have always said that pbf will win over pac. :hi:

calzaghe a great great supermiddleweight? who is significant in his resume? hopkins, rjj, kessler? seriously, for you to imply that calzaghe was a "great, great supermiddleweight" is funny. he had great skills and a good chin i will grant you that but for you to imply that he was great great even with his unbeaten record belies your impartial leanings.

what makes calzaghe so great? getting KD by a has been rjj in the first round or getting kd by grand pa hopkins.

mayweather, sure he beat chico and and old genaro hernandez. but other than that, can you truly say his competition below jww was significant? look at those names.

jmm. your man love for jmm is worse, pac, running from jmm. sure man, he sent jmm kissing the canvas how many times again in 2 fights while jmm was not even able to seriously wobble pac.

No need to be cocky about it, though. (or a cocky vibe, at least)

Among the second tier Filipino fighters, I like AJ Banal and Rodel Mayol the best. I love to watch them. I am still confident in Banal's future. He needs better conditioning and cardio. But he's a very watchable young fighter, IMO.

And I hope Mayol finally wins a big one soon. I love his powerful "hookercuts". He needs better cardio too.

Z Gorres too, I like him. Too bad he just does not have the God given talent of heavy punching power in his fists. That's what hinders him from going up another level, along with conditioning.
