    A cut can take a lot longer than two months to fully heal. Perhaps one or both of them are in a lot tougher fight than they imagine, or worse, they lose.

    What if a fighter loses in the first round and says “that’s enough for me”? In no way am I suggesting any fighter is the tournament is a quitter, but what if a fighter gets brutally knocked out in the first round, what reason would they have to continue?

    In short, this will be a very hard fight for Taylor to win, and if he loses by KO, which he’s prone to do, who’s to say he won’t drop out of the tournament at that point?

    The main person I made that part of the story for was Taylor. He's coming off 3 losses in his last four fights, including two by knockout. If he loses to AA, which I think he will, it would be 4 of 5 in the loss column and possibly another knockout. I can't see why Taylor would want to fight two more times against some of the best SMW in the world. Also, at this point I think he could honestly consider retirement, especially if AA does him in quickly and brutally. Again, just my thoughts, but I think part of it makes sense, lol
