I can do as I feel. My scoring is legit and I'll answer an questions disputing the rounds. 11-4 is just absurd. While you laugh, you also agree with me that Ali's win for the II fight is as definitive as the first one. Also, you scored the FOTC I believe better for Ali than I did. Why should I have to accept a blatantly ridiculous scoring in order to make a point. Exclude the refs then and just show what the judges thought.

    And I broke

    You must be kidding?

The bottom line is the first fight was scored more widely for Frazier than the second one was for Ali.

Secondly, I have never, ever seen the result for the first fight disputed on this forum, which tends to get these things right as a whole.

The second fight gets kicked up for re-appraisal every now and again. I have it for Ali, but I think a draw is ok.

His point is, you look daft when you toss out one wide scorecard and not another. Especially when you have such a clear agenda.

    He's right i'm afraid.

    ok then...

    7-4, 8-4 Ali.

    11-4, 9-6 Frazier.

Still an edge to Joe there. :hey

Well I don't. I understand how all officials judge the first fight in favor of Joe more than Ali for the second fight. I don't know how you can justify a 11-4 score, I can certainly justify my 8-3-1 score though. Ali completely runs away with the second fight. There are tons of Joe fans here and I guess people are upset about the holding and penalize Ali. The punch-stat ratio would show Ali landing probably at least 3X as many punches as Joe while hurting him equally as many times as Joe did to him. For the 1st fight, the punch track is close but Joe damages Ali good. He doesn't get off much in this fight and Ali finishes the round.

Again, let me see your scoring. I've also heard from a poster here that Joe win the II fight by 2 points. That's absolutely idiocy. Plenty of big damn Frazier fans, and most can't accept the refs poor job so they unfairly score the fight. If the 2nd fights a draw, then you can justify having the 1st fight a draw.

It's the widest card i've ever seen. I'm sure you can justify it to yourself; but it's the widest one i've seen. Ever.

As with everywhere else in the world (possibly even Philly), Ali has more fans.. That's paranoia.

    I don't keep cards.

Nothing less than nonsense, and some of the most bizarre logic i've come across.

I've yet to run into someone on this forum bad enough at scoring fights to score the first one a draw.

Exactly, the first one is more of a clear victory for Frazier, than the second fight is for Ali.

I've yet to met someone with this kind of comprehension. If you can justify scoring the 2nd fight a draw or Frazier win then you can certainly justify calling the first fight a draw. What's so difficult to understand? Ali blows Frazier out of the water in the 2nd fight.

I never said that I scored the first one a draw.
Bill Recht who scored it a 11-4 in the first fight isn't a good judge in my book. He had Lyle winning only 1 round against Quarry in 73.

Stop looking for a fight if you're not going to bring your score card to the table. Peace.

Nothing is clear of other posters here have agreed with me on this.

What did you score the FOTC fight again? 10-5?

    Your Ali patter is mad.

My score for Ali-Frazier II is 115-113 in favour of Muhammad.

on the 10 point scale mine is 117-112. If you have a round by round breakdown that could further help our differences. Ali banks a lot of points in my book, and potential Joe rounds are either stolen or possible draws.

How do you give round 3 to Ali and give round 4 to Frazier? :huh

How is round 5 with all the right hand Ali lands not at least a draw?

How does Ali lose round 11? He's pecking and poking all over Joe...

Round 3 is an equal round. Joe lands some clean effective punches while Ali doesn't do very much, not nearly enough compared to the other rounds.

Your analysis of the fight is funny. In a 15 round fight Joe takes the decision? I agree Joe was probably less tired but Ali finishes strong by winning the last 2 rounds. Round 12 is questionable, I do agree on that but Joe's wild and missing towards the last minute. Ali is up so big that he needs to be knocked out even in a 15 round fight, unless of course Joe wins some rounds by 2 points.

Tony Castellano scored in that fight too- had Lyle winning just two rounds. :D

Right, but you'll notice a recurring pattern of him usually being on the most extreme side. The other judge Lyle 4 rounds. Lyle lost the fight obviously but Bill's just always taking the extreme position it seems. With exceptions of course.

10-5 or 9-6. Frazier. That fight was not close.
