Mayweather-Marquez undercard looking good

    B-scene is reporting that two more fights are in discussion to land on Floyd-JMM.

    Joining John-Juarez II could be Katsidis-Escobedo and Allan Green-Sakio Bika. Both of these fights pretty much guarantee excitement. Katsidis is never in a bad fight and I can't see Green-Bika disapponting either.

    This would be a good test for Escobedo and, if nothing else, it will be good to see Green fighting instead of just talking.

    Thoughts on these potential match-ups?

    Good if you're a diehard fan, but to the casual fan, these guys are pretty unknown. It looks like an attempt to boost ppv sales, but I personally dont see it helping much. Should be exciting though.

    thats 2 good 2 be true.keep dreamin,only one of those will be on there.thats just how boxing is when it comes to undercards,you rarely see 2 or 3 great matchups on undercards

    Is Zab Judah-Matt Hatton being rescheduled to appear on that undercard? If so I think every British fan on the site can't wait to see the younger Hatton get embarassed. :yep

    If its true, its a desperate attempt by GBP to try and drum up ppv sales, making us further believe that this fight was initially doing bad numbers. I also heard that Winky was suppose to appear on the undercard. Personally, I dont see how they can afford to pay all of these fighters with Floyd getting a $15mil guarantee.

    who gives a **** about casual fans (they only show up for main events anyways), us die hards deserve a card like this.....

    I agree, but the reason for this is to try and drum up ppv sales, which in my opinion wont happen due to the fact that the majority of ppv sales come from casuals.

    Katsidis Escobedo can make a really action paked fight. I hope this happens cause we all know how boring Mayweather can be lol

    So u think GBP out of the kindness of thier hearts, want to actually give back to the fans by paying higher profile fighters to appear on thier undercard. I hardly think so. Its definitely good for us diehards who follow the sport on a day to day basis, but I dont see it benefiting their cause.
