    Gomez knocks him out something fierce. We're talking about a guy who moved up and defeated the likes of Peter Manfredo. Surely one of the best wins in boxing history.

    Cotto may have beaten Gomez badly, but SRL is no Cotto. Cotto is quicker, stronger, more powerful, more skilled, and better all around than any version of SRL. All that spells doom for SRL...Gomez by UD (similar to the way Duran beat SRL).

    Alfonzo Gomez? Are you ****ing kidding me? Beating SRL? The same Alfonzo Gomez that lost to the almighty Peter Manfredo Jr. and he hada draw with one of the best all time Jesse Feliciano. LMAO! **** give me the SRL of right now beating Gomez much less a prime Leonard.

    If the peckerslap were a legal boxing maneuver, I'd like Gomez's chances with both hands behind his back. But, it's not, so I'd have to make it a toss up under those circumstances.

    It is a well known fact that Cotto's hands were very sore from Gomez hitting them so hard with his face. Imagine what Gomez would do ti Leonard's hands!
    I say Gomez wins by impaling his face on a Leonard hook and thus getting Leonard disqualified and incarcerated.

    wrong fight for leonard,gomez is too big too strong and too fast,if duran beat leonard in the first fight,gomez will hurt him even worse,that's why alfonso gomez is on my all time top 5 just below duran,.......the only guy that I see beating alfonso gomez is sugar ray robinson at 154.
