Bellew vs Cleverly

we have had this thread at least 20 times this year.

general concensous is, Cleverly would win the fight now, in years time its 50-50.

some of Bellews fan boys will say him already.


for me, Bellew has not fought anyone yet. Would like to see Clev give up the commonwealth title and give Bellew a shot at it.

 

I've not seen anything of Bellew yet but he seems to be getting a lot of credit thrown at him on here.

I'm looking forward to seeing him in action.

 

partly because he posts on here. remember Willie Limmond is ranked number 2 at lightweight by ESB members!!!! and allowed to fight for the WBU!!!!

He may be right (Cleverly at this moment is probably the better established) but dont take this for common sense with Rob. He has a bifg grudge against anyone who's fought or trained and anyone to do with the Manchester area.

To be honest I hate Cleverly. He is a twat and has a face that needs smashing about n hell of a lot plus his entire character is one of a complete **** but even with my clouded judggement I think he pretty handily beats everyone in the domestic scene.

 

I agree with the timeliness of his last post...

He gave me endless **** sometime ago for saying how much I rated Big Daddy.... right now Tony Bellew don't need Cleverley... but down the stretch of their careers it will be Bellew all the way... he is in the best camp there is with Farnell and the boys...:yep

 

I do give Bellew credit, i ranked him number 7 at light heavy in the country.

Nelson, Arnie, Hatton, Limmond and Matthews are all associated for one reason.............the WBU. Its has nothing to do with manchester.

I have never slagged of a fighter or traininer on here other than Limmond and Nelson.

Limmond for the WBU, and Nelson for being a complete twat.

Yes he would. Henry Castle was ranked ahead of him and all he had done of note was knock out a shot Graham Earl. Lets face it, the division is not the most packed with talent AND a good resume at lightweight - Arthur has more talent than Limond, but not the better resume. Thaxton is more established, but recent losses have put into doubt just how much he has left.
