Power, speed of hand, speed of foot. punch resistance, body strength, resistance to cuts, etc. And give and example of a fighter who and this quality perfected and if possible a fighter who had only this quality to use but still succeeded at top level
Brains, mindset. Over time, speed, strength, durability will decline with father time. A good example I would say is Bernard Hopkins. He was intelligent enough to avoid getting hit throughout his career and also take care of himself outside the ring, while he progressed and became better and better over time. Another guy who comes to mind is Glen Johnson.
Impossible. A fighter MUST posses atleast two or more, otherwise he's just a journeyman. Smarts+Speed Power+Chin Stamina+Punch Resistance You can mix and match, but a boxer to have some kind of success NEEDS atleast two. That is my opinion.
The attribute that's always overlooked:thumbsup. Without heart a fighter is noting. Rip on Khan all you like but whenever he's been down, he's got straight back up. Ortiz hasn't kopped a modicum of the kind flack that Khan has had to endure:good.
If you only get one I'd say defense. You got guys that can go a long way by just not getting hit. I do agree with UliUli though. If you only have one attribute your screwed either way.
mind set. john ruiz has nothing. no power. no speed. but he has a mind. he has a heart. now he is hero and legend to 1000s. eric. ________ Washington medical marijuana dispensary
