That's not really true though. Spike has some good shows on (4th and Long was bad ass) and all of the UFC shows do very well on their network (as good as boxing on HBO).

Ive just watched Dawson Tarver 2 for the Light Heavy Weight Championship of the world again , and i was woken up by my friend in round 9 as he too fell asleep cause the fight at world class level was so shite and lack lusture .

Then i watched Quinton Jackson Forrest Griffin for the UFC Light Heavyweight title again and was on the edge of my seat for 25 minutes even though its the 15th time ive watched it .

Fact is boxing at elite level is very very exciting and the lower levels can be boring , MMA at any level is exciting fact !!!!!!

maybe you should watch some different fighters, watch cotto vs margarito or cotto vs clotty, hatton vs thaxton, if you want excitment , il admit with you on alot of your post's you spoke the truth, but what yours saying is that evrey ufc fight shows 25 mins of non stop action. many of the fights have 1 minute of stand up then 4 minutes grappling on ground which looks so boring.

your only mentioning 1 fight in boxing and i agree many tune up fights are boring for up and commers but they make more exceptional telvision for me and alot of others who see two fighters going into a fight with say a 43 - 0 and 38 - 0 boxing record compared to a headline UFC fight of 2 fighters with a record of 3-1 and 12 - 6

 

if fedor gets thrown onto ufc in sept it will boost their ppv sales but i dont think it will affect the maywether marquez ppv numbers
