From the traditional stance; not talking jabs or hooks. For me, Joe Louis had a right hand from God. Always cocked, always simple but beautiful, and always a source of devastation. Agree with mine, got some of your own? Links are appreciated. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6sv1ph-Ecf0 Tommy Hearns, his range put a whip on that right hand. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VCcxfzHxGQ&feature=related

Great picks so far, fellas. Addie, that was Kevin Rooney of Tyson fame in there with Alexis, yeah? He was bald even then! Arguello did everything so right it's easy to overlook that state of the art right hand he had. Haven't looked at Spinks yet, but Marquez and Carbajal are similar in the dexterity in their right hands. Marquez especially, mixes his right hands up at the speed of light. He changes them up mid-delivery, looks like he's comin' with an overhand right that then becomes a sharp uppercut to the underchin. Nice!
Yeh Chinx it was Rooney the D'Mato protege. Not a great fighter but a solid one no means a bum. My pick would be Arguello he had a buetifal right hand followed with a lovely left hook or left uppercut. Floyd Mayweather Jr also has a good straight right which he leads with quite abit.
Just logged, in and YESS! Jackpot, noones mentioned Max Schmeling yet! I'll leave the other (to me) obvious heavy to someone else.
Good call on Max, T. Yeah, I've been leaving the other obvious HW as well. But you know, your guy, your main guy, was no slouch in this department either.
I was going to mention my main compadre, but i like to reserve my first call for Schmeling here. But yes, seen as though you mention him, it was a massive part of his arsenal, and also his gameplan, it was never really telegraphed (provided he was 'on'!)
I know I'm preaching to the converted here, T, and maybe it's an overused characterization for fighters in general, but your man was a seriously intense competitor. "No mas," aside, which at the time I thought was frustration, but curious to hear how that looks to you in retrospect. To young aren't ya, to have seen it play out live?
I always tried to emulate Kostya Tszyu when throwing the right hand. There arent many boxers who throw it as straight with as much accuracy.
