If Cotto lands a HUGE squelch of a KD bodyshot....

i don't know, we had these threads with hatton and we saw what happened there. now i know that cotto is miles better than ricky but i don't see one body shot doing it. it'll do the same thing that most body shots do: wear him down so that cotto can finally catch him by the 6th. that's if he can land it regularly, which i don't see happening

 

If Cotto KD Pacquiao with a body shot then kudos to him. I mean I don't Pacquiao's body is as weak as when he was still a teenage boy who eat once or twice a day.

 

I'd be shocked. But there is definitely a huge chance of a ko by either guy. Cotto should have the skills at some point to turn this into a fight.

I won't be suprised if it happens . . . Cotto is well known to be a horiffic body puncher and everybody who climbs the ring gets tagged . . . only question here is . . . can Pac survive?

 

i vote shock, simply because i really dont think he's going to be able to load up and land that one big shot. he knows it too, so i doubt he even tries.

 

If Pac wins this fight I will be very suprised and a Pac believer. I think Pac will be in way over his head in this fight personally.

Clottey made people forget that Cotto is a good counter puncher and great body puncher. Manny probably thought looking at Cotto fight Clottey that he would kill Cotto, but him and his fans probably overlook the fact that Clottey can do things and take away options from Cotto that they can not emulate.

I can see Manny getting KO'd from a body shot, the same way Zab was.

 

its pretty cool how fans are still split pretty much down the middle on who's gonna win this fight... i'm gonna be rooting for cotto, but i really feel that pac's gonna win. i just cannot doubt the guy after those last two victories, regardless of the circumstances.

 

i'll be excited....im not the biggest fan of either but cotto is growing on me.

 

I would be thrilled. But I don't see it happening.

 

Cotto is no Hatton nor a dehydrated De La Hoya.....Manny will end up belly up and it will be over in the 7th round !!!!!

 

In no way will this fight be like the Clottey fight. Clottey stands upright with little movement. Pac is fast and moves a lot. That being said, look at Cottos track record againt speedy fighters, Mosley, Corley, Judah, etc. Hes an excellent counter puncher moving forward. Manny is going to have his hands full with Cotto.
