Roy Jones is one of my favorite fighters but that Tarver loss was crazy. The whole "Yeah I got a question, you got any excuses tonight Roy!?". Most people dislike Tarver but that was kind of badass, he says that and then he knocks him out in 2... DLH vs Pac was a very humiliating loss too, lost every round then quit. It was worse than B-Hop Pavlik.
And yet Tarver made himself look bad when he made a terrible excuse of why he got his butt whooped by Hopkins. Tarver "i was drug". I bet Hopkins wish he would tell that question to Tarver "You got any excuses tonight Tarver?"
No doubt. It was deja vu. But at least he didn't get knocked out brutally. Getting schooled is bad too but a KO in 2 :scaredas:. He came down in weight from Rocky, so it's like, you can't use that excuse Tarver... remember what you told Roy.
Vargas against De La Hoya was pretty bad. Vargas's performance in the ring was fine, he gave his all and it was a great fight. But after Vargas's continuous trash talk, saying DLH was not a real Mexican and had no balls, and then Vargas fails the post-fight drug test, that was pretty bad. Barrera-Hamed Pacquiao-Hatton
Darchinyan getting starched by Donaire, then adamently denying that he was knocked out, was pretty embarrassing.
when i saw the title of this thread, i was thinking jones tarver 2...douglas beating the living **** out of tyson, pac beating the living **** out of DLH, in a smaller way Larry Donald humiliating Holyfield, Holmes taking it to Ali, Prince Naseem getting schooled by Barrera (it shouldn't have been humiliating, he was the better fighter the prince had an ego), Greb beating up Dempsey in sparring
In recent memory, Darchinyan's TKO loss to Donaire comes to mind. Also, as much as I am on the Klit bandwagon these days, Wladdy claiming to be poisoned agaisnt Brew was pretty shady. Hector Camacho being deducted a point that coast him his undefeated streak agaisnt Haugan. In a sense, Leonard's loss to Duran, a smaller, slower, older fighter. And, conversely, Duran's quitage against Leoanard. Jones and Tarver is a good call. Morrisons nearly being killed against Ray Mercer. Brealand's loss to MArlon Starling Nunn to Toney cooney to Holms Hell, I could go on and on with this one.
