Fighters who were on the verge of winning a fight but choked and ended up losing it?

Im sure DLH/Tito will get a lot of responses, but I say its Judah/Baldy.

Judah outclassed him for the 1st 5 rounds, Zab only needed to win 1 more round after that and he atleast retains his title, but couldnt do it.

    Any other mentions?

I thought Prescott v. M. Vasquez was a pretty big choke. Shorten up those punches BRADY

just recently, clottey / cotto. all clottey had to do was keep doing what he had been doing all fight and he just stopped. there was a possibility that he could have won a split decision rather than losing one. he threw the fight away.

I would say Michael Moorer in the Foreman fight, but that wasn't choke, it was stupidity.

A recent fight that comes to mind is Eddie Chambers vs Povetkin. Chambers was great in the early rounds, but a bit later he suddenly stopped throwing and let Povetkin win on flurries and workrate alone.

zab's had a lot of them. pretty much all of his losses were because of some mental mishap.

3 more minutes, JUST 3 MINUTES!!! history of the 140 pound division would be vastly different. i hate lou duva sometimes.

and yeah, JT needed 14 seconds and he would've been back on top. So much talent, too much balls and a hell of a fighter. **** the haters

Golota-Bowe, both fights. It doesn't get worse than that.

nope. i'm not even that big of a fan of JT. he was well on his way back to the top by way of WIDE UD but he just couldn't ****in stay away from froch. all he had to do was avoid the guy for the last couple rounds and he had to get into it over and over even though he had nothing left. gotta love the guy for having heart and being a fighter, but sometimes it's gotta be about getting the W.
