Wald K v Fast Eddie Chambers

If Chambers had power, it would be a very competitive fight. But alas, he don't so Wlad wins.

 

Although Chambers look good for the first 5 rounds against Povetkin-he looked putrid afterwards. When he had the chance to look spectacular against anoutshape, unmotivated Peters-he never took advantage-and actually it was the first time I agreed with Teddy Atlas when called out Chambers for not doing so. And I never thought Dimentrko was anything special. I think he is a good boxer and is good person-but Wlad's athleticism, size, power will be the difference.

 

Chambers looks very good against Povetkin. But he was not in the shape he was against Dimitrenko.

Today Chambers would win against Povetkin.

Chambers deserves the spot against Wlad.

 

I agree and Chambers seems to have rededicated himself to the sport as he has said on the radio. I am hoping for the best for him and even though I dont think he can beat wlad i am going to be rooting for him.

 

There is a huge difference between Vlad and Dimitrenko, and I mean huge!

Vlad is quick, hits extremely hard, has stamina, defence, has all the combinations and punches, great foot work, balance and great trainer.

Vlad will beat Chambers to the punch. Vlad knows what he is doing and he wants to fight Chambers ASAP.

 

And I'll be rooting against Vlad hard.

 

Of course, I expect the extremely biased Euro haters to be rooting for Chambers, they always do.

 

I can the same thing about bias Wlad fans. A lot of boxing fans have underestimated Chambers, many people picked Dimitrenko over Chambers, many people predicted Peter would beat Chambers. Chambers isn't Byrd, he isn't Chagaev, or Ibragimov, he will fight much smarter than those three because he has all the mental and physical tools to execute his gameplan no matter what the size disadvantage is. Now I'm not saying Chambers will be guaranteed to win because even I admit Vlad is a monster, but he will put up a tough fight and maybe the upset.

Punching Wlads arm is a good idea.

But Wlad will win this.
He is the better boxer. And his speed isn't shabby. Agree with Shotgun.
Just watch the Byrd fights.

Sorry but the Klitchkos are Super Heavy Weights.
IF the HW division was to 225 I think Chambers could make a good HW champion. But it isnt so after this loss he can set up to fight whoever wins against Haye/Valuev.

Someone ask Manny how it smells down there!

 

Another boring jab fest against a fighter who lacks a good enough workrate or a hard enough dig to trouble WALD.

 

Chamber's is boring, can't always rely on judges to win you fights...

 

Chambers is the best of who's available. Plus he won a title eliminator. Povetkin doesn't want to fight.

Not Wlad's fault people mentally fold after he throws a dozen jabs at them.

 

Chambers might be seriously hurt.

 

Look, I like Eddie, and I was even one of those who thought that Dimentrenko was improving. Os I give Eddie props.

But you must understand, that just because Sascha is a 6'7 Ukranian doesn't make him Wlad Klit. Even those of us who supported the man have always conceaded that he is a work in progess.

Dimi does not know how to use his jab properly- Wlad's has become a deasly laser.

Dimi has been showing improved power in his last coupel fo fights. Wlad has both the best right hand and left hook in the Division. He often throws that hook off of the jab, and can double up on it.

Wlad has better footwork, more experience, and a better chin.

Props to Eddie, but beating Dimintrenko is no indication of what happens when he gets in there with the champ.
