How come Arreola wasn't complaining about the contract with Vitali?

What is there to ask? Arreola signed, didn't he? Why is he not giving press conferences right now on how the Klitz are unfair, greedy and shady businessmen?

He is NOT a mandatory. He hasn't fought an eliminator. The eliminator fight against Maskaev never materialized.

This is a voluntary defense. Vitali is entitled to a voluntary after beating Gomez in a mandatory just four months ago. Vitali's next mandatory is not due until March 2010.

One thing is certain, Arreola doesn't have the clause in his contract to do 2 fights with the other Klitschko too.

However, this clause was EXCLUSIVELY put into the contract for Haye mouthing both Klitschkos to no end how he will easily beat them both blablabla. It was put into his contract so he HAS to put his money where his mouth is, and fight BOTH, without bitching out after he beat one. This was also his OWN request, to fight both. And then he bitches about that appearing in his contract ? It was HIS demand to fight both. With one rematch each that is 2+2 = 4. Maybe math isn't his strong side.

Because Vitali isnt afraid of Arreola and they have a normal contract. On the other hand we have David Haye who the Klit bros absolutely fear and they have the make ridiculous contract with 5 rematch clauses who nobody would accept.

Because Arreola knows he's getting knocked out so he's not worried about clauses if he wins

Fear? You can't possibly be serious.

Let's see: A 188 lbs 5"11 Fragomeni wobbled Haye and had him bleeding like a pig and hanging on for his dear life. Arreola is 70 lbs heavier and 5 inches taller than Fragomeni. Arreola would likely beat Haye through the ropes back into the dressing room.

Vitali said Arreola is a better, more credible opponent than Haye after that fraud pulled out. I would tend to agree.

You can bet Arreola has a rematch clause in his contract just like any other voluntary challenger does.

Have it accur to you that Vitali wanted to fight Arreola in staple center?

And why is that? Because Arreola has a pull in LA, his hometown. He is able to fill up Staples Center. Plus Vitali lived in Malibu/California for many years, he loves fighting there.

Haye & Booth promised they'd fill up a football stadium in the UK. That didn't happen now did it? That's what happens when amateurs in the boxing business run their mouth first and then can't get things done. Although Wlad was on the record saying how he would have loved to fight Haye in the UK. Eventually Wlad had to come up with the Gelsenkirchen football stadium in Germany because Haye couldn't secure a venue in the UK. Fail.

Haye has zero pull to fill up the biggest venues, neither in the UK nor in the US.

Exactly. Vlad WANTED to fight at Stamford Bridge, but HAYE couldn't deliver and sell it.

i very much doubt the arrelola and haye contracts are anywhere near the same

there will be no rematch stipulation for both brothers, no promotional obligations etc in this as vitali will view it as a one time easy win

which in fairness it probably is

Right. You mean a reigning WBC champ fights a voluntary defense against a guy bringing no belt to the table without ANY REMATCH clause? Yea that makes total sense :lol::lol:

Rematch clauses have NOTHING to do with being scared of a fighter. They're a sort of insurance for the title holder who is not obligated to putting his belt on the line.

Ever wonder why Lewis had a rematch clause in the contract for the first fight against Rahman? He wasn't scared of Rahman, he took him lightly but he still had that rematch clause in the contract didn't he?

Exactly rematch clauses mostly happens if a heavy favorite fighter some how lose then that fighter will get the rematch right away. I bet there is a rematch clause in the Vitali vs Arreola incase Arreola wins.
