"I spoiled the party the last time. I caused an upset and he's still crying about it," said Sexton on Thursday. Rogan retorted:"The bottom line is that the referee saved him last time. "He was out on his feet in the eighth and was staggering around like a drunk in a pub. "All I will say to Sexton now is enjoy being champion for the next couple of months because come 9 October you are going to get a real belting." "I've seen kids in creches walking better and faster than you did (in the eighth round). He couldn't even walk," insisted Rogan. Sexton responded:"He didn't take me seriously the last time. He's taking me seriously now. "I'm not like you Martin. I'm not a big talker. I let my fists do the talking." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8176617.stm
I am defo going to this one... it will be a corker if there is a bit of trash talk... maybe just top spin to get a few more tickets going..... I would like to see Ritchie Davies be the 3rd man in the ring on the 9th October...:yep
The undercard should be good. The last one had Sinclair, Bellow, O'Hara, Jennings etc (sky didnt show these fights) + the 3 Olympians.
I really want Rogie to win but I think that whoever gets the big guns off first in this contest will win IMHO...:yep
I worry that Rogie will be reckless in the re-match. He needs to stick to his gameplan and listen to his corner. Sexton is dangerous in the early rounds and he has an effective and strong jab. That said, I fancy Rogie to stop Sexton late on. Should be a brilliant atmosphere, can't wait.
Me neither..... that is one of the main reasons I am going over.... I have never been to Belfast for a boxing match.... hopefully a cracking undercard will make a fantastic night out....:good
Just been on FWTV nad nothing on their.... may try BBC regional website.... do any of the Irish lads on here now if its been on the box in Ireland??
