Says you. If you are convince of that then you are convince of it. Don't try to jammed that BS down other posters throats. Cotto possibly believes he is still undefeated due to Mr. Margarito and his alleged plastered gloves. He beat a tough as nails Clottey who most fighters aviod with one eye. Damaged no. When he fights guys like Jennings, he is criticized that he is beating up lesser fighters. Now he fights and beats a top level fighter in Clottey and he is criticized for not looking like the old Cotto. Cotto can't win. When he beats Pac, he will be considered a bully for fighter a smaller fighter or what ever excuse arises.

I might agree with Atlas. Cotto looked faded against Clottey.

Cotto is as prime as he could ever be. I think deep inside Cotto knows that without Margo's illegal wraps he could have beaten him.

If Atlas is predicting him to lose then surely that will give him all the confidence he needs.

For starters I don't know if Atlas' horrible record at predicting fights is more funny or pathetic. In no way does Cotto seem like a damaged fighter to me. Sure, he faded down the stretch against both Margarito and Clottey but that seems to have more to do with both of those guys being huge welterweights. I thought both of them simply wore Cotto down with their size and pressure and illegal wraps for Margarito. He deserved the win against Clottey but that was more Clottey's inability to close the show . Obviously, none of us know exactly how Cotto's mental state is but , to me, he looks fine.

I don't think Cotto could've ever beat Margarito, illegal wraps or not ... it hasn't been proven that he used illegal wraps against Cotto, its all speculation ... for all we know --

Cotto fans * get over it, I was pulling for Cotto as well but I'm not going to create excuses, he just loss ... but aside from that I do think that loss damaged Cotto mentally.

Atlas is right. Cotto came very close to quitting against Clottey.

Cotto is what he is. A borderline elite fighter. Top guy who has the ability to compete and beat anyone. The problem is that against elite or top guys he has yet to take it to the next level. Out of his 4 biggest fights. Mosley, Judah,Margarito, and Clottey he has only walked away with one clear cut victory over Judah. Everyone expected him to take it to the next level and he hasn't been able to do it yet. In the Marg fight though he is not as good a boxer as Cotto he took it to the next level. When faced with that higher drive he was overwhelmed.

He's seen fighters like that before, it isn't like he was being bias.
