Bull****. They AGREED to put the belts on the line. BUt you can't FORCE a guy to put his belt on the line if he doesn't have the right to reach the ALLOWED limit.

    Get it?

*******s should actually be happy about this. One extra slurpee raises the significance of this fight and the value of a win immensely.

I think Pac should just agree to fight at 147 pounds. Regardless of whether the fight is at 145 or 147, Cotto is going to hold an 11-15 pound weight advantage.

It would seem to me, that Cotto is in the same mindset that Hatton and DLH were. He believes that he'll be able to use his size advantage and bully Pac around. It will be interesting to see what Cotto weighs on fight night.

Common sense no. You common yes. Someone should call Pea and Chavez tell them that fight they had wasn't for the welterweight championship of the world. The two best fighters of the time.

Honestly why not? It Pacquiao should win at 147 there will be less excuses such as that Cotto was weight drained and etc. Plus it will be more historically significant.

They agreed to a 145 lbs NON-TITLE fight, it's because Filipinos are making a huge fuss about the WBO that now Pac wants to fight for a title.

We'll see if the fight goes down, but it's back to negotiations.

They should just make it 147 pound fight for the title. Kudos to Cotto for not backing down, but we'll see if the fight pushes through.

It ain't got **** to do with Filipinos it's because throughout history if the bigger man holds the title in a catchweight fight it has been on the line.
